I believe that some ppl dont have mic coz their english isnt the best in the world. Me myself i have to talk REALLY slowly for ppl to understand what i say. Btw, you british guys with VOIP should do the same. It's nearly impossible to hear what many of you say.VipersGhost wrote:It's amazing how many guys STILL dont have VOIP. Sure you dont want to talk much, fine but at least get one so you can talk sometimes. It sucks being in a squad where a couple of guys dont have it...sure they can type but its just not as good. Also seems like guys with VOIP are more accountable being that you are talking to them directly. Decent squadies, all with VOIP are MUCH better in action...especially when it gets tense.
Also, the #1 crapper...SL without VOIP??? Stupid...

I often see squads named: "VOIP GERMAN" or "FRENCH - MIC".Waaah_Wah wrote:I believe that some ppl dont have mic coz their english isnt the best in the world. Seems to be working?

One thing I learned a long long long time ago during my short stint was to "keep your mouth shut , listen and pay attention"..which I do.
May not be the most conversational player but don't hesitate to call out key factors.. ie "contact north..unidentified.. 4 infantry LAV support.. engaging.." then use the re-spawn time to get another beer , but at least I warned my squad.
What I hate..and hate the MOST..is servers that use 3rd part voice software (TS,Vent etc.). Usually it's a mass of confusion as you can hear everyone chatting and if you don't have it running and logged on , you may as well unplug your mic and go solo.
Nothing wrong with the built in VOIP..all you need to play a good game. Never had any problems with it.

Not many PC gadgeds can beat a good headset. That's why I payed for quality. And quality and desing is what you get when you go for German Sennheiser.
Do you like a good mic and extraordinary good sound then go for Sennheiser.

I had a mic headset, until the headset got caught on the chair, my foot caught the wire, and the plug in the back of the PC didn't give....
Hilarity ensued (and a painful physics lesson), and the wire snapped from the headset. I'm going out tomorrow and getting a new one, maybe even investing in a wireless one....
