To the DEV(s) who made Kashan

Post by Dunehunter »

I want to have your babies.

I love this map so much, it is hard for me to express my feelings. I had a game today with a commander who relayed orders to the Air squad, so we had BHs doing pickups, F16s keeping hostile aircraft down, and A10s taking out the big armoured beasties. Then I managed to take down a tank at the edge of visual range with two shots from my H-AT...following the trail of my rocket through the air, gently steering it downwards until it collided with the tank and the explosion that followed...have to stop typing...I'm starting to cry.

It's a little laggy, but i have to agree that its a great map. I wish some servers would run it 24/7 (They really should) so i wont have to go trough 20 min of startup lagg before i can play

Yeah I have like no lag at all on that map.

It's fairly cool I guess.

We test over 50 player laggy, and a litle bug the server kick the US Team (all) looks nice ;) I have remove the map.

It can become even worse, after 03 it goes only downhill.

schrotti, I love your TB server but the lagproblems you guys encounter are a server problem, not a PR one.

schrotti, was lag und connection lost angeht ists ein problem von eurem server was stimmt einfach nicht mit dem. ist keine kritik nur eine bedauernde feststellung..

Yea I enjoy annoying rhino by making a map then leaving the dog jobs (lightmaps) to him because I buggered off :D

Glad you enjoy it, ive only played on it for about 2 hours so dont have much Idea how it goes, but I can imagine its a pain getting stranded. hehe

I love it. I just wish more servers would run the 32 player version more frequently. :-(

The tanks are chanceless against smart infantry as it is, though yeah, one or two more sets of H-AT would be nice.

Quinling means "middle mountains" (or something to that effect, IIRC)

And the Eurofighter and Harrier will be making their first outing there, along with the PLA getting their fixed wings back, in the shape of the J-10 and Q-5. :D
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.
