Semi-auto M107 on Kashan?

Recently while playing on Kashan (possibly the greatest map ever) I noticed something decidedly odd. On top of one of the large gray bunkers near the center of the map a friendly player was lying in the prone position with what appeared to be a M107 .50 cal. Long Range Sniper Rifle (Similar to the M95 in the original BF2)

I had a several minutes to examine the weapon in his hands and am positive on what I saw: the player in question was happily laying down a hail of semi-automatic .50 cal destruction on the MEC forces across the field.

I have searched the guides and wiki pages and have been unable to find any mention of this weapon being included on the map. Can anyone offer an explanation (and if possible where I can find it on the map)

it also has duel usi's. but its location is classified to those who go out and find it

M107 is correct too.
Model 82A1=Barrett Firearms' designation
M107=US military designation

yea i found it, hit alt f4 while flying and you can see it on your mini map, its a glitch

an XM107 is a 20 mil grenade launcher/sniper and its an M82 =D

I knows where it is, its a beauty.

But i'm not telling you where its at, thats whats so fun about it.

you'll find it one day, and everyone will be staring at you like they did me when you do hehehe

I've gotten the kit a few times, but have yet to use it -- Got TK'd for picking it up once, during the beta, and the second time was shot by some SF nub on the USMC team seconds after getting it.
