ive been playing since .4 and never had this problem, but on .6 whenever i play its is extremely jerky with the movement, the aim, etc and im playing on very low ping servers for me, like 60-70. im not sure if its lag, or my hardware except i have a pretty good system and have never experienced this problem before. it happens on any map, and often what happens is il be running, and il jerk right back to where i was. or il aim, then the aiming reticule will disappear and i will have to aim again its really annoying and it makes the game almost unplayable. heres my system specs,
core 2 6400
evga 680i motherboard,
2 gigs ram,
geforce 7950 512 meg
i put my settings at high, and .5 was smooth as silk, so was beta .6 so does anyone else have this problem, and know how to fix it?

There is a dual core optimizer fix but thats just for amd dunno if there is such a thing for intel cpu's. You could also try setting the infinity to 0 and use just one core, apparently bf2 engine hates dual core.
As mentioned before tho do all the regular checks first PB update, spyware, loose services etc etc. A quick tip and performance booster would be to use the NVidia control panel to set your anti-aliasing settings rather than use bf2 to do it.
However if youve played since .4 and had no problems i would suggest maybe something youve added to windows recently thats not helping?
