Hi,
two things I couldn't find an explanation for in the FAQs and guides.
1. (I guess) my squad set up a Rally Point. When I was killed I selected it to respawn there. I saw the pile of bags of the Rally Point for a second but then appeared somewhere completely else falling from a height and getting injured. Was it an RP of another squad and I wasn't allowed to respawn there? If so, why did it show up as a spawn point? I mean squad leaders (therefore spawn points) of different squads don't show up either.
2. I was in an APC having the right crewman kit requested for me which seemed to have worked since I wasn't warned of not being allowed to drive. But I couldn't move the thing. It seemed like I was stuck or something but with the engine reacting to me "hitting the pedal". Same for a truck with a spanner on the side (I was not an engineer). But when I entered a random civilian truck I could drive it normally. What was that about?
Cheers,
Mac

1. OK when you spawn on a rally point it MUST be your squads rally point. Other squads rallies will still show up but each one has a number attached to it so make sure it is your squads number, that means its your squads rally point.
2. OK did you definately request the Crewman Kit? If so you might have been 'tracked'. Was the APC damaged? Had one of the tracks sunk into the ground at all? Trucks with spanners on the side are supply trucks for re-arming vehicles. They can only be driven if you are using the engineer kit or if you have an officer's kit. Can I ask what side you were fighting on when this happened?

I've seen stuck vehicles too. Get into an APC which doesn't appear to be damage in any way, and it wouldn't move.
I also had a weird issue yesterday where I was driving a brand new APC, and I couldn't get its main gun to fire. The machine gun fired, but the cannon didn't, no idea what that was about.

What do you mean it wouldn't fire?Revelation_Space wrote:I've seen stuck vehicles too. Get into an APC which doesn't appear to be damage in any way, and it wouldn't move.

If you mean that the ammo counter said 0 and you couldn't see it shooting check by shooting a couple of rounds at a friendly vehicle. There is a bug that happens if someone fires the turret without the crewman kit which means the next person to get in that position can't see it firing. If you get a team vehicle damage after doing what i suggested it is firing its just that you can't see it in the first person view.

^^
Well it was the very beginning of the round. Our squad needed transport, so I got into it and drove it to a flag, where everyone got out.
I then got into the gunner's seat, and tried to fire the main gun, it just kinda clicked (made a funny noise). I can't remember seeing an ammo counter, but it was the very beginning of the game, and I know for a fact that the gun hadn't been fired until then. The right-click gun fired fine.
I didn't notice any reaction from a wall when I fired at it, and I didn't want to test it by firing at friendlies. I'll think about it next time, but I really hate deliberately firing at my own team.
