Okay, thanks, well then I'd like to play too.
I'm not a complete noob, I'm a 1st Lieutenant in vanilla, and I'd say I'm reasonably good at PR and usually place in the top 5 of my team (though I've had it less than a week, so I know I have a lot to learn). I just get really embarrassed if I make a mistake, especially if people start going nuts at me for it.
Like yesterday, a guy revived me, and I pressed Q so I could say 'thank you', except I accidentally let go of Q a split second before I clicked the mouse, and shot him in the head while he was healing me. Most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to me in BF2.

Usually play as a medic, but only because nobody else does. I'm happy to play whichever kit is needed.
VOIP, though I can easily get Vent or something if needed.

Don't mind in what squad I am. Just put me down in whatever squad you want
.
Edit: if SL is needed, put me down as one. If I'm SM, put me down as rifleman or medic.

My immediate advice is that it takes time & an effort for a medic to heal a critically wounded squadmate (much longer than 'nilla): what we need at that time is for you to quickly follow us (if and when possible) and then provide us with cover as we heal you.
Keep your rifle trained on possible areas of attack (don't eyeball the medic
Look forward to seeing you on Teamwork Night 5...... at the right end of the rifle

What's French for deja vu?

I was running around reviving people and then one guy shot me with his sniper rifle

Heh, yeah, I think from now on I'll make a point of not looking at the medic while he's healing me. I usually play as a medic (means I die a lot less, which I need since I'm a bullet magnet), and I know it can be frustrating when the guy you just revived runs away, only to die again from blood loss 20 feet away - so I try to stick close to the guy..:iGi:. I'll try to remember not to point my weapon at the medic next time.
Ah right, I'm really sorry about that man, it was very careless of me. I did take your kit and try to revive you, but I guess I'd hit you in the head.nick wrote:hmm I think that was me you shot

Okay. Gazz, place me in squad 2 as an engineer (or as SL, if one is still required).
