The name to me is more cheesy than stupid. The looks of the vehicle are pretty stupid, but utility is what matters most, I guess.
And yeah, I think priority should be given to putting this in the mod. After all, there aren't any serious realism issues with BF2 that need to be addressed first. If we could just add a bunch of concept vehicles that haven't even been adopted for service yet and when and if they are purchased will make up 1/5000th of all vehicles in military service the game would be a whole lot better. Just my opinion, anyway.

Dont you know? Humor is a powerfull ally... Since the Swedish military dont have the funding to fire its weapons, we simply laugh the enemy to death with cute names. No wars in 200 years is proof of concept anywhere.'[R-DEV wrote:BlakeJr']How is "Shadow" more stupid than say, "Bamse"?
I mean, how can you possibly name an airdefense system after the friendliest bear in the world??? Talk about stupid name...![]()

Let's just say that the Shadow is not currently a priority... The main focus for now is to get the British gear in game and working.
I'm, not saying the Shadow is out, it may or it may not appear at a later stage.
Darn.... I might have a go at becoming a politician... Speak a lot but don't say a word!

"Swedish special forces laugh their enemies to death" Me quietly wonders who will get the last laugh....

LOL You're welcome. The 1986 Delta Force movie with Chuck Norris and Lee Marvin had heavily armed motorcycles and dune buggies and a mulleted and bearded hero as well, so it's easy to get them mixed up.BluDragon wrote:omfg Eddie LOL when i was a kid i had paper towel rolls filled with bottle rockets tied onto my bike to simulate that motorcycle in that movie, but i always thought it was called "Delta Force" not Megaforce, no wonder i could never find the right movie thanks alot man lol.

That is correct. The US started using the Chenowth FAV in the early to mid 1980s. Back then it was a two-man vehicle. From that came the 3-man Light Strike Vehicle (still known as the FAV by the Army and Marines, and known to the SEALs as the DPV).Mad Max wrote:FAV's have been around decades. Not sure when the military started using them, but similarly designed desert/dirt buggy things have been around for ages.
