Rockets don't do much damage to tanks. They are best used against infantry and soft vehicles.

Bombs are very effective against tanks. Laser guided missiles are good against tanks as well.

And the cannon is an overall gun that is effective against all targets.

The manual is good, the manual is great, we surrender our n00bness as of this date.

Rockets are good against tanks if the crewman is repairing or something.

Shouldnt bombs be used on enemy infantry instead? I dont mean 1 guy, but when they are capping a flag it must be devastating to get hit by one of those babies.

They can be yeah, but they do hurt tanks. They're the hardest weapon to use on the Frogfoot/Warthog IMO.

30mm DPU rounds are more effective ;) A three second burst and you'll be raking the points in.

I'm planning a week long marathon on PR next week (get the house to myself for 2 weeks. Sexy party ;) ) I've been practising on local server with the A-10. North village flattened in three runs using only cannon so far :)

Damn pitty I'm on the other side of the pond or I'd stop by and join that marathon.

Hehe, I'm looking for some people to be my wingmen. And maybe a server who'll let me use the jets.

In response to Murderous' PM, yeah you can be my wingman as long as TG doesn't lag out for me. I do low level btw, if you go high you're asking to be shot down.

No I'm only 17 atm, but I'm going for RN Merlins in two/three years. Benjaminosaurus keeps bitching at me for having "Green Bears" in my sig and not the grey RN ones.

I do have flying tomorrow though.

Best of luck and take care of those eyes....you'll need em. And get yourself some rudder pedals to start building that coordination now. The hardest part about hovering is moving those damn pedals while you're concentrating so hard (at first) on the cyclic and collective. Took me a few hours to finally start moving my feet somewhat effectively.
