Yeah, I've had three lessons in a helo (got way too expensive so I switched to planes, I'm about to do my air law). We were 5ft off the ground and I was just whacking the thing about trying to get control

I could fly in the air straight and level on my second go but hovering..... damn that's hard.

What do you fly H-60's for? The CG, AF, Army, Navy?

Both UH-60 A's and L's...not a big difference...L's more powerful. Active Duty Army. Flew in Iraq FEB04-FEB05. In the US Army, they have a High School to Flight School program which I got into. I'm almost 25 now w/ 1100+ hours so I have been around the block

I've never even seen a Merlin in person, I bet its a real luxury vehicle in the air.

Hehe, I've seen one in person and it's huge. The rotors are absolutely massive.

I only have 22 hours in the air

One drunk.... but shhh!
