Support kit kicks ***. (screenshot)

Post by unrealalex »

I'm starting to love it more and more. And people are starting to get it more and more. I was playing Assault on Mestia, or one of those forest maps but with insurgents and not chinese. And our squad held the West Bunker point for the whole map, it was freaking insane. It was our squad, + the commander sometimes, vs 2 squads continually attacking it. So I got the support kit and did some heavy *** damage. I used support whenever I could, but got a few kills with the Grenadier kit as well when support was all taken (the smoke nade feature is freaking incredible).

Yeah! Mestia is a perfect place for the support kit...lots of close range battles and defensive areas. If you know the spots to setup...there can be some DEVASTATING ambushes.

I absolutely love the PKM on Mestia, even with the lower ROF it's an extremely effective weapon.

Coolest sounding MG in game IMO.

I was British so I had the SAW. Never even tried the PKM yet.

The PKM has a very distinctive sound. I immediately recognize it from just a single shot.

Have to agree, it really has that metal/continuous style sound. Really clean sound yet powerful. Plus it's always nice to send a lot of green 7.62x51mm rounds into someones face.

The support kits are nice, not a fan of the M249, but the Type 88 (or something) and the HK21E is real nice. Who needs a scoped G3, single shots on a moving target at extreme ranges are hard to pull off, just let rip in the general direction with an MG and the man will fall. Some beautiful long range kills i've done with the HK21 and .50 calibre HMG's.

It would be cool if the Brits had a Susat on the saw for 0.7!

I always loved the Support Kit on different city maps, such as Muttrah. It rocked on that. But yeah, it works well on any map if in the right hands.

Mestia's topographical variety makes it an excellent sniping map.

uhhh if anyone watches a lot of action movies the HK21 sound is almost exactly the same as the sound used for M60s in a lot of 80s hollywood action films.
