So you're saying you wouldn't benefit from getting a little notification that you can set up a rally point, or get your limited kit, or maybe even that you're in range of the 25% squad/commander bonuses? weather or not, adding extra notification is possible without the hard coding i don't know, but that's why we're suggesting

and making things accessible to noobs is an important step in making a popular mod.

I think most people are saying that its called Project Reality for a reason.
Its not meant to be easy. There is a manual and if you don't read it then what do you expect?
