PR Training

Post by Masaq »

Dear all,

I'd just like to draw your collective attentions to the Project Reality Training Forum, located five sections below this one (In Community Forums -> PR Clans and Teams -> PR Training Team) or easily accessed via: http://realitymod.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=134.

This forum will shortly become the locus of the Project Reality Training Team, who will be available each Thursday evening from 1900 hrs BST to assist new and old PR players alike in learning new skills and honing their existing ones.

Following an hour's training, the [ABA] guys will be on standby to give a challenge to trainees and trainers alike in a set match. After that, a period of free scrim play will be available.

The benefits of getting to grips seriously with Project Reality in this way will be the chance to play with like-minded players- new or old - who are also keen to become better players, in a private server. There'll be no abuse if you crash a jet, no moaning if you accidentally TK whilst strafing, and no moaning if you miss your first shot with the M82.

HOWEVER:

Before we can get the Training running on a regular basis, we need a couple of (not many) volunteers to assist with getting a brief plan and some preparation in place. If you think you're a PR expert in a field (or two) whether it be Infantry-only tactics, effective sniping, devastating tanks in the A-10 or commanding an entire team, then please head over to the Training Team forum and use the Instructor signup thread and I'll get back to you shortly. Until then, if you're interested in receiving some of the training, there's a thread here to sign up: http://realitymod.com/forum/showthread.php?t=25882
Please do *NOT* post sign-up or trainer applications in this thread.
