What was that .5 map...

Post by Expendable Grunt »

It was an "Armour Heavy" map that had US vs PLA...LOVED that map but it was hardly ever played -- and now I can't remember the name after not having played .5 in many months...I'd like to see that map come back!

Meh, beaten to it....

I really don't mind considering the last few times I played that map. The flags were bugged and either they were named something completely different (and people kept trying to cap ones you couldn't because of it) or you couldn't cap the flag at all.

I think they got rid of it because tanks are more powerful now but that's fine -- just give us a bunch of APC's and lighter vehicles!

That map had some of the BEST environments...

i loved that map, my favorite moment was when i was rolling up behind friendly infantry in a APC giving supporting fire.

i think the forests in Steel Thunder are the sexiest ever, if i could date any game related forest it would be the steel thunder one, and another thing if we get married the trees wouldnt have to change their surname

Steel Thunder used to be one of my favourite maps in PR, but I don't miss it, since there are other great maps too.
