Ryan: drop it, all right? We won't tell you where the weapons are, and we won't tell each other where the weapons are. I, for one, haven't even bothered asking, as I know no-one will tell me anyway.

As for SLAMing the chopper, I would have kicked and possibly banned you for that. You never, ever, SLAM your own chopper with teammates inside. You have any idea how long it takes before it respawns? You just screwed your team over. And saying that you're a good teamplayer during the day, but not the night, is a bit like saying that you're only a serial killer, neo-nazi rapist during the night, but a really good bloke during the day.

QFT.

Players like that annoy the hell out of me.

Want to know where the M85 is? TOO F*CKING BAD. Sucks anyways.

Honestly I don't care about the .50 calibre rifles (it's not like .50 calibre rounds are particularly useful in the game anyway) but the fact that the community is so unwilling to just tell him where it is defies the point of it.

Everyone complains when people don't know things, say they should read the guide and shit. But when someone does ask, it's all "find it yourself"

I don't see what's so wrong with just bloody telling him. Instead of having a stupid 3 page topic with all sorts of trolling and flaming going on. You complain about idiots in game, well some of you are just as bad if not worse on the forums. It's not nice and if you don't want to help than don't post or better don't come to the forums because you're not helping anyone or doing anything useful.

That's my rant. I don't know where the M95 is, if I knew i'd tell you. Clearly nobody wants the game to be found out or played properly so nobody will tell you.

Mekstizzle.

Its official policy, I'm afraid. The Devs ask that no one tells anyone where the easter egg weapons are and even go to the lengths of moving them during each release to ensure that only people who take the time out to find them, well, find them.

For most things, people are generally helpful. The .50" sniper rifles are a special case.

Personally, I don't know where they are. I've used the M95 in a live game once, when I shot a US sniper and stole his kit. I don't ask partly because I'm not that interested and partly because the Devs have asked that the locations are not revealed to those who don't know them.
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.

No. Sadly not.

why cant u guys jst make a list of all the hidden guns in this game that u can pick up, then tell us exactly where they are so people willl stop asking for them. you guys want people to stop asking and people to stop spamming to find them well just tell them. at least they have the courage and curiosity to risk being banned from all servers just to know where one item in your awesome game is. Why dont u just not add the pickup kits to the next version so people will just stop asking?

Because it not as fun and you're taking away incentive to explore maps and alternate routes.

Also you'll probably have a huge pile on in out of the way areas of people trying to get the kit, thus putting your team out of position to make good early game headway.

Because if everyone knew the location you would get loads of noobs standing around TKing and waiting for them to spawn.

We should just take them out.

Agreed. Either make them one of those "special" requestable kits (like Heavy AT) or just take them out. I don't know how often large calibre rifles are used in war, probably quite frequently

or

You could do it depending on the map. Massive maps, the "Sniper" has the Big .50 Sniper rifle, on smaller maps, he has the 7.62 one.

But, I'd rather just see them go too.

we move them every release for a reason :P

tbh they are not that useful.... and adding EVEN more snipers to a team is a questionable move... its just a little treat for dedicated players, dont make it your sole purpose to get these kits cause that isnt the main point of PR...

Heh, well that Ryan guy is still asking where they are during every round over and over and over. Apparently for him, it's his sole purpose.

Would they be hidden if DEV's told you where they are...?

Exactly. Go find it in the BF editor, dude. ;-) That's all I can say.
