hi all, im new in project reality mod forum but i love it ,for me is the best mod...the weapons, the vehicles,the "real life" play....jejejeje all ...im read many thread and help me moore...thank you men thank you(sorry for my english im spanish and my english is very bad sorry again)

I was about to create new thread to expres my positive first impresions about PR mod but ive decided to use one of existing threads. Sooo... ive downloaded the mod about 2 weeks ago, ive play it propably ~10h and i must say that im very impresed, big THX to devs ! You Guys keept what was good in BF2 and You fixed almost everything what was crapy and arcade. I realy love the mod, it has so many great things that i cant even recal ever single one atm but ill try to list some great pros :

- Great Realism - recoil, damage system, sounds, ballistics, slower movement etc etc
- Absolutely stuning tracers, they are propably best looking one ive seen in any computer game. I remember one of my first games , i joined sever with USA vs China map ( can remember the name) in which USArmy spawns in a corner of the map and has to assault fortified hill full of bunkers. I joined US side and after passing first hill i was pined down to the ground by three MG's hidden in bunkers on the hills, all these tracers flying around and those distant gunshots ! :D It was just Stuning !
- Great Maps, they are better than original BF2 maps imho.
- Vehicles ! longer spawning times, and lots of realistic changes, tank is a tank at last ! If infantry squad without HAT encounters a tank they are f..d up for good ! As it should be :)

I have one problem with PR though, duno if its me or is it known bug but some stone walls looks like made of glass , thay reflect light in funny way when i move next to them.

One more thing, i dont like that changing stances is instant like in BF2, going from standing position to prone should be longer and it should affect accurancy.

To sum it up, PR is one of the best mods ive ever played. You Dev Guys made completly new game much better than BF2, thank You for Your hard work !

Those shiny surfaces happen with certain video cards, but also in vBF2.

And Insta-proning is pretty much hardcoded.

Hi, glad you like it :)

The shiny sandbag/stone wall issue is a shader problem iirc. Try deleting your shader cache so it regenerates them the next time you load a map.
