Tweaked T-90 that's the T-2010 or something like that (same stats, different look). New tank sold by Russia.Clypp wrote:I hope we never see any weapons or vehicles in PR that do not exist IRL.

I think realistically middle eastern countries would either work together in a confederation rather than in a committee, but who knows some super imam could rise up and unite everyone.
I think for realism sake, it would be more accurate to see the middle eastern countries just collaborating rather than united as one. So my vote goes to confederacy.

Threatened by the United States and Israel, the countries Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, Iraq and the PLO create the Middle Eastern Coalition to counter American military power and protect Pan-Arab interests.
Simple.
Coalition like NATO, the others just don't make sense.
However, unless current administration changes, unlikely Jordan would be in MEC, they're a big US ally.

option 2
It would be interesting but unnecessary to create PR background (there already is a fan-made vBF2 and BF2142 background). And I believe it would be very difficult to write it not from a GOOD vs EVIL point of view.
BTW US and UK are invading MEC and PLA soil, killing their civilians (inevitable in war) and destroying their infrastructure so ...

#2 or #3 make sense to me. I voted #3.
No offense but if EG wants to do this and the Devs like it whats the big deal? I could really care less what the back storie says. So if there is a impossible back storie put in place and the Devs follow it or change it at some point I will still enjoy PR regardless. It's just a back story.

Don't be surprised of an air strike against an pirate manufacturing company. Or at least in a Hollywood movie.El_Vikingo wrote:Why would it shock us?
I won't be surprised if there is a war between the US and China, but the US depends heavily on the Chinese and their "Made in China" fisher price toys.![]()

Everything is possible in Hollywood movie. But in reality is this more probable http://www.telegraph.co.uk/money/main.jhtml?xml=/money/2007/08/07/bcnchina107a.xmlnicoliani wrote:Don't be surprised of an air strike against an pirate manufacturing company. Or at least in a Hollywood movie.

Actually if you didn't hear, the head hancho of Fisher Price's production in China commited suicide -- we had to recall something like 1,000,000 items because of high lead content paint.

8,000,000, actually. 2,000,000 of them in the UK.Expendable Grunt wrote:Actually if you didn't hear, the head hancho of Fisher Price's production in China commited suicide -- we had to recall something like 1,000,000 items because of high lead content paint.
Where Lead paint has been banned for God knows how long. Not only should they have been recalled, the numpties who let them through customs should be sacked.
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.

Back on topic, we should care less if fighting X nation is Y nation, or whatever, the only realism we should focus on is the fighting aspect of the game, not the storyline and political aspects of the game.
Worrying about such things will hinder what we could do with this mod, cause if we were to be super realistic about this, we would only probably be in the middle east, and you could kiss your china maps goodbye.
