Kashan losing value...quickly
When Kashan first came out, I was all for it. Really big map, whoohoo. And I'll admit, if you have a team that's working together it still is a blast. However nowadays the chances of jumping in a server and getting on a team with 31 other competent team mates are very slim.
So now were left with you (wanting to play at least half seriously), and 31 vanilla noobs who are jumping around at the airbase asking when the jets spawn. The worst part is that some servers have it running almost every other map. Enough is enough already, if your a server admin, PLEASE even up the rotation a bit with a few more older maps.
Normally things like this don't bother me enough to make a post. Just with a map this large, teamwork is REQUIRED.

I hardly play Kashan and must say it doesn't come across that often on the servers I play on. Kashan requires teamwork indeed. Without that, you're almost doomed to fail
Perhaps you can try to find other servers that suit your needs more?

I feel the pain of the original poster. Because PR does require teamwork for a team to be successful (outside of the other team sucking worse or luck) when a majority of people who "play' PR are not teamwork minded or do not understand what teamwork requires of them, its not going to be very enjoyable.....especially on a map like this. Yes, I also cringe everytime the sever starts loading up that map and if I see a server palying that map, I do not join.Long Bow wrote:The map can play really poorly if you have a team that doesn't work together. The map plays even worse if booth teams lack teamwork.
These two conditions will ruin any PR map now-a-days. However due to the sheer size of Kashan it is much more obvious.
I still play because once in a while, I am still able to find a few good teamplayers out of the clueless gaggle playing out there and THAT is a great time.

There should be a transport vehicle somewhere between the 4x4 ones and the APCs. A vehicle that offers the protection from the APCs, but with less firepower in order to force the players to use it as a transport. Just a mounted machinegun so it can protect itself from infantry.MAINERROR wrote:yeah we need more humvee's on kashan 64 and maybe one blackhawk more.

We need about one more HMMWV on that map, the DEVs have given plenty to get squads around that map.
The trouble is the players. Server admins should try to admin on Kashan as much as possible. If someone's camping for a jet they should be told to GTFO. There's no harm in wanting a jet, but two or three people on the runway and at the hangar..... nah, it's just ridiculous.
If only we could have training like AA to be able to use specific vehicles and weapons.
