I have been playing on Texas ...TeamPlayers... PR server since it started and enjoy the heck out of it. The players are friendly and their teamwork and communication are commendable. A great bunch of players with a great mod.
I would like to give a shout out to the guys that I squadded up with this past Friday evening - Great Games! You guys kicked butt and made for an enjoyable evening. Hope to see you around more often.

Not a bad server at all. Played on it a couple of times, only recently though, the map rotation has become an issue. For almost 5 or 6 straight maps, it was maps that were asymmetrical as in: Desert Storm (why is this still in rotation?), Raid on Moskiye (this too), Assault on Mestia, etc. Little did I see any symmetric maps thrown in between those maps. Itd be nice to have a level playing field once in a while after being on the short end of the stick (ie insurgents, milita, etc.). Other than that, not a bad server to play on.

Nothing else like TTP anywhere!!! Been a reg, now a reservist for about 3 months or so after finding out how much fun I was missing out on by playing as a team. Introduced to PR at TTP by NHBird and as you all know it is a blast. If you want the best teamplay, most intensity and most dedicated group BF2'rs out there then come see us at TexasTeamPlayers.com.

I did enjoy their server for the time period I played on their server, but now they banned me for a very unjustifiable reason, and refuse to understand the situation I discussed on their forum. Now I cannot go much into detail, that is left for the topic on their forum... because I don't want to start anything here.
But what I would like to say is that I've always had a good time playing on their server, and would like to play some more. However, they refuse to unban me, and I have to go through this lengthy waiting process, which is kind of unfair for the innocent. I can see their reasons for doing so though... because people banned for plausible reasons would indeed feel the punishment.
They like to keep their server clean, who doesn't. But when their reputation is at stake, they really overreact a bit and take things too far. And yes, they are very protective of their reputation... and maybe get a bit ahead of themselves when duly accusing people. I've had complaints of me "cheating" on several servers and forums, but it is all legit gameplay... and I've said before... I am more than welcome to teach people what I do. Heck, some tricks I've learned from other people! There is nothing 'special' involved for any rounds I play, I just play it as hard as I can, especially in the A10. But even when in a tank, or being a sniper, it is just typical tactical gameplay.
I've been playing this game for a long time, including older BF titles, and PR is the only thing I play now (haven't even touched vanilla since reinstall). Been in tournaments (won a few (with prizes!) with clans on west coast) and big leagues (like old 21CW) with a leading role for my teams (eg Air Force Captain, etc), even a supporting role, like with making maps and graphics for mods. I am sure there are numerous players on this forum that can vouch for my skills being legit, even some R-DEVs who I have teamed up with, or led personally as a squad leader.
So all I can say is be careful what you do on TTP. As much fun as you may be having on their server, they ARE watching, and they will not hesitate to get rid of you even with the slightest bit of 'suspicious behavior'. They don't know much about gameplay tricks and tactics, or even issues with Battlefield itself... so when something doesn't seem right, bye bye
