The M2 With TOWs will be in for the US Army at some stage. The Marines do not use any Bradley variants and will stick with the LAV-25. And until there is an LAV-AD modeled, they'll probubly keep using the Bradley Linebacker as their AAV.
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.

The LAV-AD has a completely different turret to the LAV-25, with 8 stinger tubes and a 25mm vulcan cannon.Outlawz wrote:What about putting back TOW launchers on the LAV-25 and changing them to fire Stingers instead?

Actually, Bob, that's a GAU-12 "Equalizer" 25mm cannon (fires the same round as the M242 Bushmaster). This weapon is also found on the AC-130U Spooky (soon to be replaced with the 30 x 173mm Bushmaster II) and the Harrier II. I think the Army should have just stuck the Blazer turret of the LAV-AD on the Linebackers if they were unsatisfied with their performance, but I'm sure they had their reasons.Bob_Marley wrote:The LAV-AD has a completely different turret to the LAV-25, with 8 stinger tubes and a 25mm vulcan cannon.
