The machine gun shown in the 2 picture is the M2 Browning Machne gun. It weighs 58 kg with the tripod (that is over 100 pounds). How many soldiers do you know who would be willing too OR even can carry such a heavy weapon around for long periods of time. ;-)

There's no way to make something carryable by two people, or two have two players "assemble" a weapon, AFAIK. It's been suggested - and the M2 you *really* don't want to be lugging around by yourself on foot. It just ain't practical.

Yeah, but thats already been suggested: https://www.realitymod.com/forum/t26393.html.

Not that i'm pointing to my own topic, anyway M2 as commander asset would make sense.

But Fuzz head and Evilhomer told me the DEVs had almost deffitely decided not to add M240s and GPMGs becuase they could not find a way to realisticaly model the ammo belt feeding it.

Thats a shame, I would love to see the M240 as a limited kit.

Get cracking on it then ;) Oh wait, you weren't offering to code and build it? Rats :(

Joking aside, PM one of the team or something if you want to catch attention; I don't know enough about the code to know if that's feasible.
