How about instead of a .50cal, put in a M240 MG. I'm sure its been suggested before, but it makes a lot more sense than lugging around Ma-duce

Actually Canada does have certain personell qualified to operate the M2 in certain conditions. Usually no, they don't use it dismounted. But during a large engagement, it might be brought out to provide a base of fire.

Oh I know. Just Reaffirming it. The M240 would be wicked. Even if it couldn't be a "kit", maybe deploy it on a commander asset like in the window of a bunker or on a sandbag line. What can I say, Me likes big machineguns
