Attention public-relations people: Attracting milsim people to this mod

Post by Armand61685 »

We need a military simulation fan-base. First things first, we need to advertise and promote more to the depressed milsim guys playing bf2 vanilla ( and they stick with vanilla because they love the feel and engine of bf2 so much).

Then, we need to advertise to people on operation flash point boards, Red orchestra boards (wwii mod for ut2004), COD 2 boards (there are milsim ppl in that realm too), and America's army's boards.

Of course, we would advertise in the "off-topic" or "other games, mods, etc." message board, but I think our point will get across perfectly.

Basically, this mod needs to attract people who are into military simulation, not JUST people who are happier with 2 hit kills or new vehicles. And there are a lot of people who are into milsim, you just have to look in the right places.

Red Orchestra boards already taken care of by yours truly, mate. Been part of those boards for over a year.

Good luck with OFP fans, hehe.

*edit*
Just post on ALL BF2 forums, Joint Ops forums (if there are any), and other similar games if there are any.

Can you not construe what I'm trying to say by the context of this thread? If you're not joking, then you need help.

I do think he was joking. At least I hope so for his sake. Anyway, I definetely agree with your suggestion. People that like those kinds of games will most probably like Project Reality as well.

I believe Armand was referring to milsim as in MILITARY SIMULATION...The first setence of his post construes this observation.

I could be wrong but that's what I assumed from the start. I wouldn't jump to a racism issue when nothing that was mentioned in his post pertains to any type of racial reference...

Lets try and keep on topic here guys.
