No. I hate BF2. I'm going to try to send the map to a friend and see if its the map or my installation... probably the map, because that would make things difficult. I hate my life.

*edit*

XD thats me smiling at how much this sucks. ;)

I hate when you hit a snag like that, hopefully who wouldn't have to redo the map.(Although if that happens you'll probably scream and throw you computer out the window :-P )

Do either of you have a more exact error message by any chance? That would help lots.

Right now, for me it says house 03 lod cannot find texture or something... Im wondering if it the same for everyone...

anyway, I'll re-render lightmaps and try again.

Ummm, you want the WHOLE map, like, the Editor ready map? I have the packaged map on filefront, but I'm assuming you want the actual map that can still be opened in the editor (without leaving all that rebuilding editor files ive seen on a thread here)

Let me know, and thanks so much. I feel bad that its all this big hype/problem and its not even what I would want to consider Beta... :(

All the buildings are in the map for the most part, but there are a lot of little things I want to get to eventually. I only recently got roads working, so Hawlwadig will get a road template sooner or later and a few other things like more trash on the ground, overgrowth in more areas, better texture mixing/use, etc...

Anyway, snake doctor, thanks a ton for offering your help, I will get the map put up as soon as I get some free time to let it upload and then I will PM you. :)

Thanks!!

Ha, thanks, but please, you should all keep your thanks until you get the map up and running... its still in need of work. but hopefully, once snakedoctor gets it running, I will regain my pride and desire to finish it and get the final release going!!!

Hmmm, i deleted the overgrowth folder and it still crashes at around 46%. I deleted it from my already packed map. Should I go into the editor one, delete the overgrowth folder and then repack it?

And do you mean the one thats right there in the Black_Hawk_Down folder? Or the overgrowth folder thats in the client.zip...

Thanks, I'm hoping this is a quick solve...

or do i need to delete the overgrowth folder, re run it in the editor, and then have it create a new uncorrupted overgrowth folder?

sorry, brainstorming, I have to get to class, be back in an hour.
