Distance of RP's

i was thinking about all the good maps that have been devolpoed over the past relaeaces of PR, and how there are some that are no longer being played.
Mutrah ( sorry for the spelling) for example. i know that since the rally point limits were greater than the CP distance from each other. would it be in option in the future to have the distance of RP's calibrated for different maps to make them playable once more? all teams would have the same advantage and it would bring back more varitiy to the community.


any how just a thought.

Yeah seems like a reasonable thing to do to balance gameplay with the maps. I'd hope it was possible.

The solution is to make CPs more away from each other, and not decrease the RP distance.

Mutrah in your example is being totally remade by Rhino for the next release and will be a lot bigger and wont have that problem.

If you notice the vanilla maps we included, we removed a bunch of CPs so you have space to place RPs and also move around different paths.

understood... how ever i haven't played vBF2 in about 2 years so i did not know that.

i guess i just wanted to see some old fav's come back. thanks for the info
