But the thing is..nobody is willing to reskin the uniform, let alone the tank and we haven't even gotten permission to use them yet.

Thats what I intend to do, but at the start of October I'm joining the army so I'm doubtful I'll manage to organize it.
merkava is no problem to model

THE.FIST if your willing to model for it, I'd say start off with the basics, such as the TAR-21[if KP doesn't finish it/release it for IDF?], the NEGEV machine gun.
After these, its time to do the sniper rifles :-)
After that, I'd make the Namera for APC-based maps, and only after that I'd do the Merkava as it will be least used, I can see IDF-based maps as mostly urban or rural.

PS: I'm still waiting for my 'friend' to email me the IDF skins he supposedly done, but apparently he has "email problems" that prevent him from downloading it off his email[he sent it there from work], I smell bullshit :(
So if anyone is bored, feel free to reskin the EU or US in to IDF..if you need reference pictures just PM me I got loads.

Hurry up and be done with the Canadian/Polish/Russian projects so we can get the IDF in

Why not nick the one of RC? That should be faster than me making it...

No permission to use them yet, no updates so far, and as I see these uniform on pretty much daily basis..they really need to be brighter..much brighter and more green.

Yeah gotta agree with that, the model is nice though.

Long time no check-in here, hehe, having some internet issues.
Anyway, RC model for the TAR is kind of nice, although I don't think it'd really spare some work, since KP also enjoys modelling stuff ;)

Good work so far!

Cool. Do you have any idea why the IDF does not use any camo??

1-Camo doesn't realy fit our desert and monocolor ground
2-When this uniform covered in dust it's realy hard to see from a distance
3-Terrorists wear camo uniforms and some civilian clothes and that's how we try to look different

Plus, obviously, it looks cool.

And don't count on me to finish this up anytime soon. Currently I'm busy arming two different community factions...

Ah snap, I was hoping you'd finish it, any chance you could pass it to another modeler, perhaps FIST?

FIST, Excellent job there man :)

Think its time to create a IDF thread?

EDIT: after some clarification, I'm PMing eggman and will await his reply before I make another thread.

My issue is that the vest really doesn't fit the uniform but other then that its pretty good, take a few pictures ingame with high quality settings :)
