commander tactic idea
Ok well you know how you can tell squads to move to some other place or destroy this or that? Well why dont we have the commander have a 3d screen thing instead of the 2d one. It should be possible. Ok In rts's the player highlights a group of guys or tanks and tell's them to move some were or destroy something. Why not have the commander be able to that. So it would be more strategic. In placing offensive and defensive moves. Also he could tell the troops to asess a threat or warn them of hostiles in a building or some other place.

Ok let me explain as (best as I can).
1. The commander can open the screen when he so needs to.
2. He will have a screen like he does right now or changed if needed.
3. He will be able to control troops like an rts where you highlight them and tell them to move to a position or take out a specific obejctive or something.
4. The troops on the ground can spot enemies and the information would be sent to the commanders map.
5. From there he can choose how he would like to asees the problem.
6. By sending in tanks to take out the enemies, or call in air support from jets.
7.( this can help with the suggestion doc made on squad specilization.)
8. The commander could say tank squad go take out the enemy infatry at this location or something.
9. There could be more that could be added to this suggestion and if was implemted it would add a great deal of team work into the game. Aswell as tactics. Thank you hope this helps.

Let me tell you this way.
There you go.1. The commander can open the screen when he so needs to.
TAB
2. He will have a screen like he does right now or changed if needed.
He already does, although the magic UAV is gone.
3. He will be able to control troops like an rts where you highlight them and tell them to move to a position or take out a specific obejctive or something.
Click on the squad and give them a marker.
4. The troops on the ground can spot enemies and the information would be sent to the commanders map.
I think they already do, they go to the whole team actually.
5. From there he can choose how he would like to asees the problem.
That's up to the commander to decide, using the info he already has.
6. By sending in tanks to take out the enemies, or call in air support from jets.
Easily done by using VOIP or Team Chat.
7.( this can help with the suggestion doc made on squad specilization.)
Squad specialisation is a control method for noobs, not necesary if you can count on your team.
8. The commander could say tank squad go take out the enemy infatry at this location or something.
Again VOIP or Team Chat
9. There could be more that could be added to this suggestion and if was implemted it would add a great deal of team work into the game. Aswell as tactics. Thank you hope this helps.
I don't think it's realistic because commanders in real life don't get a monitor where they are able to float above the battlefield (Maybe with a UAV) and drag and drop commands onto soldiers.
