Read the but about the field dressings. Anyone else think that they got this idea from PRM??

Ummm.... then wouldn't you have to say PR stole the idea from the world's militaries?

Other games do this too, nothing new. If the games has character bleeding in it chances are there are bandages.

I know PR came before this, but as an example, STALKER; Shadow of Chernobyl uses bandages to stop bleeding

Medal Of Honor, the Pacific campaign had bleed out and bandages on PS2 about 2 years ago.

Perhaps not, but we should have an investigation and a purge anyway just to be sure.

I remember playing AA 2 years ago and it had bandages, I didn't play PR back then so i'm not sure which one had it first.

When another FPS introduces "civilians" as a combat class, then we can talk about stealing.
But OFP had civilians in 01 so that's not entirely new either.

day of defeat on HL1 had bandaging for awhile before they took it out...you didn't see it though it was just pushing a button and a bandaging noise :P

Suing the army probably isn't a good idea.

Yep that was when DoD was a one shot one kill bleed-out or die realism mod. Look at it now...hahahah

About AA stealing from PR; great minds think alike.

Actually what's gonna piss me off is when people blame Quake Wars for coping BF2 for stealing the defibulator idea when it was QW that originally came up with the idea. Hell that's one reason BF2 came out in more or less beta , they wanted to beat QW to release.

In VC it was like an arcade med kit, 100% health.

Yeah, but still a bandage, unrealistic yes, but still a bandage :p
Also IIRC they couldn't heal completely if you played SP on anything else than easy
