There was even a model at one point, but the polygon count was too high and thus it was not introduced into the game.
I was wondering if this awesome rifle is gonna make it into the game at all, be it a SAM-R or SDM-R.
With the added bonus of not being an armashite and covered in tacticool rails.WNxKenwayy wrote:M-14 is much more widesspread than the sr-25.
The USMC SAM-R and Army SDM-R are both accurized M16 variants, not SR-25s. However, the USMC and Army have adopted variants of the SR-25, the Mk-11 (also used by USSOCOM) and the XM110 Semi-Automatic Sniping System, respectively. From what I understand, these are intended for the observers in the scout-sniper/sniper teams and in the Marines will eventually phase out their in-house produced M14 DMR. According to some sources the 75th Ranger Regiment has been using SR-25s for their sniper team observers since the early 1990s.pasfreak wrote:So yeah, this is on the already suggested list, but the most recent threads I've come across are two years old.

The SR-25 wasn't in .3, it was the Mk-12 SPR.'[SAF wrote:stal20048;470391']I looked on the SR-25 as the worst weapon in 0.3.
