Pick Up C4

Post by Onil »

Can you please make this possible? We can already throw the mine and pick it up to put it on another spot but you can't do that with C4 and it's really annoying. We should be able to disarm the C4 like we do with the mine and get it back so we can use it on another location. I don't think this is very complicated to do and i think it is very useful.

DICE were promising to add it in one of their patches but never did
Doubt PR could do it without compromising the EULA

How about you get a bomb-disarm-kit? And then you have a 33% chance of success.

well think this way... you put C4 on a spot just in case some enemy vehicle comes but then you secure that location and there's only friendly troops around. You can't recover the C4 to you resupply and get some more. Problem is that if you use the new C4 you got you will also blow the old one and probably kill your team mates with it. And since C4 ain't destroyed when you fire at it or throw a grenade next to it (something i think that should happen) you really need to get the C4 back.

If you're willing to throw a grenade next to your own c4, why not just blow up your c4?

Again, you can have multiple C4 placed on different places and they will all blow if you trigger them... you can not blow just one if you placed more then one... same problem! you might hurt your team mates just cause you can't recover the C4.

wtf..AFAIK, C4 is extremely stable. you can set a kerosene fire off next to it and nothing will happen. you actually need a dedicated detonator to blow the stuff.

I think it's a good idea. Sometimes you place a C4 but then things change and it's no longer in a useful place. It's not totally needed, but at least it is realistic to be able to pick your C4 back up. Only thing is, you should NOT be able to pick up enemy C4!
