People forget this is a game at the end of the day. We play for enjoyment too and personally, I like spinning the gun and firing it off. It's awesome.

god the MGs are so annoying when fired unnecessarly. and they give me this lag while flying and most of the time causes me to freaking crash. i hate it so much

Unnecessary firing of the guns - whether in the blackhawk, a landie or whatever, is a bit stupid. Yes it's a game and yes it's for fun, but really - it's supposed to have some semblance of 'reality'.

In 'reality' troops don't leap into a vehicle and start shooting at jack sh*t just cos they like the sound it makes.

And, when your chariot steams into a firefight you are defenseless, as the loon in the gun seat has cooked the barrel and you can't fire.
