download question

Post by Ghost716 »

Is it possible to have a site where we can download PR 0.6 in pieces? Cause I have a buddy that cant download the file due to his connection timing out and I'm sure there are a few others out there with that problem. Plus some of us cant just wait there for a file to download for a few hours. Thanks for reading hope it didn't bore you too much :)

no, to much work for little profit. try using torrents, may take a long time but it's the closes thing your looking for.

and oyu would have to wait for .7, at the time it's not really worth breaking it up into peices now. (unless someone wants to do it)

Some people may hate torrents, because it's too complicated for them.

How are torrents complicated? Not effected by timeouts ... never accidentally cancel them by closing your browser. And all you have to do to download the file is double click the torrent and your bitorrent client will probably fire itself right up.

You gotta instal the torrent client frist !!!!!!
And that's pretty complicated !

Nah, I guess most ppl are either too lazy to instal torrent client or thinks it's something illegal.

Well, some ISPs try to block or limit torrents so its not always that simple...
