Now you see why it's not a good idea to let small kids play PR.
GET YOURSELF SOME LEGO RYAN! Do all the fun things little kids to, like playing outside in the mud - make first experiances with girls, collect pokemon or whatever - and after you've grown up a little...
had my personal gameplay experiance with this kid - it's not funny!!

God knows I should lock this thread, but what would be the fun in that? :D

Anyways, as everyone else has said, generally someone standing right next to or on top of a gun/vehicle is planning on using it, unless they are AFK. You limit visibility and situational awareness by getting in them a lot of the times, so usually you can spot things better if you wait for a threat to appear.

So as far as this unknown guy is concerned, you jacked the asset that he was manning, and then killed him, even if it was accidental. The punish by him was more for you stealing his asset then anything. The entire ensuing situation with the technical could have been avoided if you had let him use his gun, because then he wouldn't have been standing on it and been killed, and the technical would have still been destroyed.

By placing SLAMs on the AA you were acting irresponsibly and immaturely. That sort of behavior is not taken kindly in these parts, evident by the responses in this thread. It was an even more foolish act considering the fact that you initiated the situation, albeit unintentionally.

Your goal should be to diffuse a situation like that, not escalate it. Be the bigger man, and walk away if it doesn't look like its going to end well. Theres even a life lesson in there for you: you can't try to punch out everyone you get into a bicker with.

I was in that round. I remember it very well.
It was in an Al Basrah only server. thebattlearena I think. I know the owners and they're a bunch of good guys :)
Anyway. There was a squadbug that round, so the only way to communicate was via text. Me and Mujahideensniper were setting up defences with the landrovers and we mowed down so many enemies in the beginning of the round. It was amazing.

However this wa not gunna last long, soon the noobs started joining and our defence fell apart. Landrovers getting driven away, people running over friendly mines.
Noobs taking our gun platforms, driving them away just to get pwned by an insurgent held knife.
It was a horrible madness, and the Checkpoint was left with no heavy weapons at all. In a deseprate attempt to make the Checkpoint defendable we asked the commander for a spinning AAA of doom, and a bunker on the Checkpoint.
We got out bunker but no AAA.
Some minutes later the landie spawned next to the bunker, and me and Mujahiddensniper went on salvaging missions to save, our beloved and missed weapon platforms. The landrover.
After salvaging our land rovers, and being so naive thinking the madness would not repeat it self, we realised we would need a stationary and heavy gun. We asked the commander again for an AAA. This time, we got it.
Mujahiddensniper tryed to build it, but got sniped off. I managed to build it so he could jump on it and give away while I moved the last standing landie in position.
We repelled the enemy assault, Mujahideen went off the AAA standing next to it, most likely repairing our spinning doom cannon of destiny or scouting for the enemy.
To not lose our last mobile weapon platform, I transported people about on the map with our car.
When I got back it was madness in the Checkpoint, Ryan had stolen the AAA and was shooting madly in the air while insulting Mujahideensniper in text, and teamkilling him every time he got near it.

Sorry for the medium-long read, I couldn't resist lol :)

This wouldn't have happened if Muja had fast-roped onto the AA gun. There's a bug that makes you invincible if you do that... ;)

My £0.02: Ryan, check your facts before posting and check your ego at the door when you go into a server.
