Well, in PR, last time I played with the M203 (or equivelant) I'll switch to my M203, and my character will "chamber" a '203 round, ready to fire. I was wondering why this is? Why is it a bad idea to travel/prepare for combat by loading up your 203?
Also, in some games, once you have selected your UGL and loaded it, you cannot switch back to using the assault rifle untill you have fired the 203 (for example, in INS mod).
I can appreciate you may not want to keep a 203 round loaded at all times (accedental discharge could mean a very sad letter home to the wife/parents) but why must you fire it? surely if by the time you have loaded a 203 up, the need to use it has vanished there should be some way to unload it (other than firing it?)?
Thanks!
