I sat here thinking, i saw a thread before about removing the explosives from Engineer's and give them more of a support idea.
How about an EOD Requestable kit? with C4 Charges and explosives to demolish, bridges and Insurgents ammo caches

Well, someone better end up with some heavy dynamite if it is removed from the engineer. We cant be left with a pack of slams and no body-armor.
The removal of explosives a Official thread or a general suggestion?
I really like the engy, only give him smokegrenades.
EOD = Current engy, only without wrench?

Engineers that i've seen tend to either go around using their support type abilities or blowing **** up, but never at the same time
I'd refer to the real life engineer corps for guidance on this, as I understand it engineers have a common level of training with specialities in explosives/vehicle repairs/etc?

EOD, are the ones who destroy ammo caches on the battlefield in Iraq from my understanding, so wouldnt it add realism? While the Engineers should be kept within a Commanders range, or vehicle range where they are to repair/build assets or repair vehicles..
So with an EOD kit, you know your duty and what your supposed to do, i would however suggest giving it a more powerful punch, and no Mines.. keep those with the engineers
