Devs: Thanks for Insurgency...,

Post by M4nicMin3r »

ITs probably been said lots of times before but not from me.

I'd just like to take the opportunity to say THANKS to everyone involved for the insurgency game mode.

When .6 came out i didnt give it much time but after a few days of playing nothing but this game mode its brilliant!!!!!. So much fun, seems to me it encourages teamwork unlike any of the other maps/modes.

Playing as insurgent is so much fun, when your up against superior weaponry and you storm and capture the NVCP it actually feels like you've achieved something. The civvie class.., is well... CLASS! :D i cant help myself with the ambusher kit too.

Playing as Brits, right from the start, you seem to be up against the race against time and ticket loss and it gets really tense gameplay when the insurgents have 400 tickets + and brits only have 20 tickets and one cache to find and blowup. When its blown and game is won, its fantastic.

I havent been in a game for ages where one side congratulates the others so much, lots of fun over VOIP too. Coordinated attacks and different commander strats really keep this game mode alive. How youve pulled this one off with balance is beyond me as the insurgents, at first really do seem to be the complete underdogs against the brit forces and all seems hopeless.

Ive never felt so happy about loosing a round!! ..., its bizarre!

My only beef is that not enough servers have it in rotation!.

Once again Devs THANKS!

cheers... :D

Insurgency is a little buggy right now with regards to the icons. But that will be fixed in the patch, as well with some map updates that will make it even more enjoyable (to me at least) ;)

thank db mainly :)

all I did was think of as many random locations as I possibly could come up with for the ammo dumps, + a little more. Think there was around 125 diffrent random ammo dump locations :)

Honestly ive been having so much fun with this game mode recently the bugs dont seem to matter!.

I suppose it can only get better ;)

Bugs aside you really should take massive credit for it.

I agree. We need many more maps with this game type for the next release. I love insurgency!

Thanx Devs.

I still don't get why anyone would ever want to play on the British side...I really love how the devs have somehow managed to make both sides completely different to play with, while still keeping them balanced. Insurgents: get too close, and you'll get shot/cremated/blown up. Regular armies: keep your distance and fire at them from so far away they can't even try to shoot back.

Agreed. I get a major kick out of playing either side depending on how I want to play. I generally prefer British, but I love the whole feel of playing as an insurgent as well.

Bugs? What bugs?

I love the insurgency, and I really like playing insurgents, I think there is more an objective and such with insurgency than with AAS, even though that is better than normal conquest...

Yeah, amazing game mode. I didn't like Basrah before because of the A-10's, but now I can't get enough :D

However too few are using ambush tactics as insurgents, it really pays off to wait 2 minutes with you clacker out and see the enemy vehicle go kaboomski, or wait on a roof top with you mosin or RPG, then an enemy squad comes up the road.

Yeah, the whole feeling you get while you're racing through the back streets with an rpg over your shoulder while a civilian on a high building keeps you posted on the enemy troop movements is just really cool...reminds me of BHD ;)
