The MEC FAV is just the PLA one with a Kord and an RPK on. And a different camo scheme.Outlawz wrote:Right...so we still have the Russian/MEC FAV, which should not exist?
Altough no map has it...so..
And the Recoilless rifle and automatic grenade launcherdunehunter wrote:Aw man, why can't we get so many people in it?![]()
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.

Recoilless topside where the .50 cal is in PR, the AGL where the QBB-95 would be.AnRK wrote:I assume that's what the beast in the top photo is then eh? Lets have it eh?![]()
Anyway, we won't be seeing the AGL for a very long time, if ever. Probubly a better chance of the launcher making it in at some point. (talking about the bottom photo)

The DPV is what the SEALs call it, yes, but the Chenowth Light Strike Vehicle (as it's commercially known) was also used by Marine Expeditionary Unit (SOC) battalion landing teams and Marine Recon units, as well as by some Army special operations units, as the Fast Attack Vehicle. Because it runs on gasoline rather than diesel, and for other reasons, it has fallen out of favor with the military. The SEALs' remaining DPVs were in storage for a long time before Afghanistan and Iraq came around and were retrofitted with slightly larger engines before deploying.'[R-PUB wrote:Garabaldi']I was under the impression that the DPV is limited to use by SEALs..
The Marines have replaced it with the Interim Fast Attack Vehicle, a modified Mercedes G-class off-road vehicle, and the Army Special Forces and SEAL mobility units use long-range patrol optimized HMMWVs (sometimes called the Desert Mobility Vehicle System). Chenowth has an "Advanced Light Strike Vehicle," but I have only seen one photo of it in operational use.
That's not a recoilless rifle, Bob. Just a plain old rocket launcher. Granted the PF-98 is a 120mm rocket launcher. Just behind the gunner's shoulder you can see the encased rocket attached to the back of the launch tube.Bob_Marley wrote:And the Recoilless rifle and automatic grenade launcher![]()
