What about Anti-Personnel mines? The Bouncing Betty kind I mean (I know, not exactly deployables, but I figure I'd throw it in anyway since it would be kinda unique).
The fox hole idea sounds pretty good, but, as small as it may be, there isn't a lot to hide it in on Mestia, there aren't that many bushes and not a lot of grass either (which is pretty much the way it is in a real forest).

This signature is here due to lack of imagination.

Roadblocks with couches, cars and tires? (Think of Black Hawk Down movieHarrod200 wrote:I don't think Insurgents should get anything, after all they're supposed to be a poorly organised rabble who have just picked up a gun to fight the invaders. A Militia though has some organisation and should at least be able to use what they have on hand (cars etc) to hinder the enemy.

Hm, how about spider holes or those tunnels the Viet Cong used? Basically get what appears to be a hole with something covering it, so in reality you can't go in it, but it looks like you can. Can represent a spawn point or resupply point(though there are caches already).
Though I don't know if the Russian rebels actually used that sort of stuff.
I don't know if insurgents need anything, but militia sure do. Insurgents already have civvies, not to mention a different game type. Militia is just like a really shitty army who is overpowered by the enemy's requestable kits, range, and firepower. Nothing fun about being dominated. Unless you love bdsm.

Sigless.
