Collaberation
Will it be possible to have teams woking together such as British army and USMC against the MEC so you get more realistic battles.

That would be kick a-- if you could have both teams against the one. Would add alot to realism. Would be painful to try to coordinate between teams too unless everyone used a common chat screen.'[R-PUB wrote:Deagle']It's possible. PR is not following any particular "storyline", like mods such as PoE or Rising Conflicts, so a mix of the services is possible. It all depends on the map, and what would be possible in a realistic setting.

Well look at it this way: Your "team" is simply access to certain spawnpoints and certain points gathered under a common name. With the new access to the gameplay mode, that should be very possible. Whether its worth the effort is another matter.Mad Max wrote:I was under the impression the engine didn't allow you to play with more than two teams. Or is the way you're thinking of where you can switch the kits to have a British one, then toggle to an American one like how the unlocks work?
If 32 players divide into 3 teams, that's 10 players per team, minus 1 for the extra commander (already 2 rounded off). So its 9 to 10 active players per team. Now assume there are 2 planes on the map. 7 active players per team. Then lets say 2 of those people are just plain idiot that stand at the mainbase staring at the sky. You are down to 5 active players per team. 5 players that has to divide themselves among all the flags on the map, in your teams vehicle. They have to attack and defend. Lets say that you only have 2 flags each (6 in total). 2 flags to defend... For 1 or 2 people each. That's either 1 or 3 people left to assault. Some team!
Why not simply put put your combined score for say 5-6 players under a common name and declare the highest ranking group of people the winning group, but still have the old 2 teams?
I think you see where we are now.
I rather see kit specific maps, for example the combined forces of Navy Seals and SAS under the same team ("The Good Guys", hehe). 7 kits is plenty to work with, 3 being NS and 4 being SAS or something like that. (well maybe not special forces, but you get the idea).

I just had an idea for this
On maps where collaberation is used you have the unlock switch button to change between the weapons for the second army so it is the same team but just two different armies working together.

Interesting idea regarding the unlock. It could also play a role where militarybranches and other government agencies might operate in mixed units. For example SFOD-D with some CIA mixed in. Or an SF team with USAF spec ops to guide aircraft in landing on captured airfields or guiding bombs on target.
It could add an interesting variable to maps where one force has to face off against regulars and irregulars.
There's always spawnable kits too.
