that is a desktop card and very lacking! you cannot play high end gaming with that in there.
I just built my kids machine at :
single core 3700+, 2 gigs pc3200, nvidia 6200 turbo cache
and it plays games like a dog! It isn't much better than the last pc with an ati 9600xt in it!
Getting them an 2600xt next time i get some money soon and putting it in for them. It's either that or an x1950pro like I have (not quite got the cash for that though!)
Get new GPU and PSU probably to power it. Look for cheap x1950pro's. In the UK cheapest price is £65 right now for Jetway model from Aria.

Try this very handy "test your pc for game performance" type of site.

Did you tell the tech./store who sold you this card that you intended to game with it? I can't believe that they even sold you that card, it is so low down and old that it seems underhanded to me. I would strongly suggest returning that card, though i can't see it being worth much, and buying a new/used card in the 7600+ or 1600+ family of cards. When you you get around to purchasing a card be sure to post your options on here before you buy, don't trust the shop to sell you whats best for you.

Use that chart in buying a proper card for what sort of fps you will see in PR @ 1024x768 high everything 4xAA with your cpu and ram (most likely, don't quote me on it!)
If you are going to buy a proper gaming card, post here or a tech forum first including the specs of your current power supply unit inside your case to make sure it can power it!
