Image

- Army doctor US/GB( can be allocated from tent and must be in 100 meters from tent )
Image

- c-130 supply dropper US/GB( should be manned bye an 3 man crew, 1 pilot-2 co pilot-3 supply dropper.. can be used for new gametypes )
Image

- Huey GB
Image

- Black Hawk US
Image

- first aid boxes (should be the tent medic 'weapon' can be trown on the ground)
Image

- Huge red cross on the thing on you uniform for The tent medics

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

New gametype:

medical crewman
medical pilot

Medic kits from tent :

Not really needed as Jeep/APC + Medic = heal wagon.
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.

i thought while your wearing a red cross you where not allowed to carry arms.

you havent explained your system of what you want these to do, doc a while back made a exilent system on how medics are suppose to work.

and another thing you asked 3 pilots and one doctor thats adds up to 4 people that could be else where on the battle field, its a major thing with such small scale servers you dont want to be tieing people down with support roles

medical pilots...are just pilots? It aint like the pilots are also surgeons.

But yeah, i'd love a more complex aid system:

However- since we cant evac injured men, the tents etc arent that useful unless its like a commander asset that heals u when u enter.

A car that only medics can drive would be just fine since guys would be healed when they sit in back- I do this sometimes with a hummer/vodnik anyway.

But i implore you to NOT put new kinds of medic kit in, the game doesnt support medical specialties or anything like that so just let the medics do the whole job as they are. Remember the two seater for officers/crewmen/engineers? Just need a well spaced medical car- simple reskin for a jeep.

I do like some of the ideas tho, But forget the new kits plz plz, its not like the wounded can have a chest wound and require specialist care in this game.

Addition: Look at how the battle field health service works IRL, corpsmen stabilise injured for transport, then they get sent back to the next station in the chain and treated, if its really bad they could get sent on to the OR on say the primary casualty receiving station/ship where spcialists are based. I dont think the highly trained medical officers get sent in to heavy combat unless he/she happened to be there on another assignment anyway or the injury had to be treated with immediate specialist surgury.

You're allowed to carry a defensive weapon (such as an SMG, assault rifle or pistol. No "offensive" weapons like SAWs/GMPGs, sniper rifles, etc) and to use it in defense of yourself and the wounded in your care. If you initiate combat all the special treatment you would get as a medic are immediately void.
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.

Yup, people still don't know this, even though this has been a feature in vBF2.

How come this hasn't been locked? Seems kinda odd.

Anyway I don't see the point in any of these things while medics an bandages and such are as effective as they are now.

Ambulances, medevac helicopters and medical structures have been suggested before, Arjan. The red cross white armband has largely been abandoned because it points the wearer out as a target of opportunity. Combat medics wear the same uniforms as the units to which they are attached and you have to look pretty close to distinguish them.

The medical aid/civic action mission idea is a very interesting one, but one that is better suited to a role-playing or strategy game than a combined arms FPS.

Locked for resuggestion. :)
