other armies? IDF maybe?

Not sure if its a feasible suggestion, but I'd like to see (and hear) IDF (Israeli defense Force) representation in the game (since some of the conflicts do apply, especially insurgency).
Any plans for anything of the sort?

Yes there are 3 more armies in the making by community modders.

New Countries
Russia
Canada
Poland

Welcome to the forums!

Currently there are no plans to introduce the IDF that I know of. However, with the community faction projects its is possible that they will be seen in a (probubly distant) future release.

There are, however, several more factions in the works from community teams as Soucy said (and at least one more besides) as well as the additions the official dev team will be making, so there will be plenty to keep your interest in the coming releases!

I'm locking this thread for resuggestion. In the future you should check the "already suggested suggestions" thread stickied at the top of this section of the forums and make use of the search function which you can find at the top right hand corner of the forums.

This is one of many re-suggestions which is quite obviously a textbook example for someone not using the Search funtion which, in short, lets you see if it has already been suggested. If it has, your wasting DEV, MOD and YOUR OWN time by suggesting it.
