Well I'd take any rifle that can hit a target within 100 meters.

imo something that would be both more realistic and not still force players to play the way the class is supposed to be played is the aks74u

does **** damage similar to M4, **** bullet drop, more recoil than ak47, and **** accuracy because of sights, but has full auto and 2-3 clips.

I would personaly go with just a pistol since the Ambushers job is to set IED's and place land mines, And not be in the thick of a firefight.

I still think a rifle of some sort would be the best bet. Your waiting for vehicles anyway not hunting infantry.

sks is good but i would prefer a shotgun that had a realistic spread, instead of the ridiculously inaccurate shotguns they have now.

I'd like the ambusher to have an AK,I hate shotguns and one of the reasons I like playing engineer is that they have a rifle of some sort.
