Use for the UAV

Is it posible to have the UAV controlable from a "workstation" in the base so you have to take off and fly it around the map but it would also mean that it could be intercepted from the air

I would think so, it could work the same as one of the guided missiles on the choppers but fly slower and have no timer as to when it explodes... which a UAV shouldnt do on its own.

what i mean was like on the CIWS on the ships exep you are not actually in the UAV

I know the devs have some really interesting ideas about how they are going to rework every aspect of commander mode to be more realistic,.... i just dont know what they are.
