People will be both annoyed and curious at the same time but...

I hope, no one ever discovers the location of the M82 on Basrah....

It is extremely unlikely that they will even if they spend a week looking.

Doesn't OGT have some hidden kits too? PKM and a M95, or is that just a myth :razz:

Yeh i was playing with a couple of players thew other night that knew..., unfortunatly that damn rifle got our whole squad killed.

Our squad leader picked it up.., we headed to mosque to find some caches and he got killed by an insurgent, i killed the ins straight away and revived our SL. Before i could revive him another member of our squad picked up his kit, no sooner had i revived him than another ins spawned and took shots.

The guy who had picked up the kit started to fire the uzi's at the ins but moved right behind the SL who had just been revived and killed the SL as he was directly in line of fire. Others flocked around to try to pick up the kit, then a nade came in and killed us all.

I swear that rifle is cursed LOL.

There are some PKM's and M95's on OGT and I know their positions. They haven't changed the positions from v0.6 either. Problem is I think they are contained in a rock :-x .

Hidden kits should be removed from all maps. If there is an M95 it should not be hidden to give some people an unfair advantage. Also it is not realistic.

Not all of them are especially well hidden. For instance the M95 on Seven Gates is pretty much in the open. With regards to the "realism" factor of these kits, I think it is fairly realistic. People set up hidden weapon caches all the time.

That does not make it fair... There is no advantage to these caches.

OMG so they are there! I spent 10 minutes looking once, drving jeeps up it, jumping and proning in cracks, randomly pressing g and c4ing random bits. If its the same set of rocks i think it is.

They dont bother me too much, i know where a few are, and i rarely use them tbh. M82 on Kashan I've used a few times, mainly spotting targets in advance for tanks, telling them what kinds of round they need an popping the occasional H-AT guy. They dont seem to affect game play and are a bit of fun. As long as you dont have half your team going rambo looking for them :-o
