connection problems partially solved

Post by Kruder »

I used to have lots of connection problems before, before adding another stick of RAM(3GB now).I dunno if both are related but since 2 days my connection problems dramatically reduced, not to mention having no(nil-zip-0) lag(due to FPS)...

No more embrassing chopper crashes due to conn problems and lag...
Hope it helps..

P.S:I remember posting stuff on a connection problems topic, although i've searched didnt find it,if u move my post there much appreciated.

This sounds stupid but it really really works, still having no connection problems(since 1 week).I must remove the 3rd stick and test it this way but i am too lazy.

well allegedly if you run a dual core cpu that too can cause connection problems as the bf2 engine isnt written for dual core cpus. There is an AMD dual core optimizer out there but i forget the link right now but if you start bf2 and goto the task manger and set the bf2 process to single infinity by right clicking the process this can solve it in some ways.

Quote from ArmA forums says it all.
"Arma 2 has a very lucky dev team, who have a very patient community, who will always stay loyal in the faith that one day arma 2 will be complete.
Flashpoint has a weeks worth of out the box gameplay, after that it's boring. "
