Gaming on GloryHounds server today..

Post by xsdgh »

@DEDMON5811 & all the others who were playing on the GloryHounds server so 1 to 2 hours (?) ago:

It was a really fun game and I hope we get that kinda teamwork done an other time aswell - it was just great. Could someone of you send me the Battlerecorder-files of the two rounds "Strike at Karkand", where we blew everyone up at the bridge flag? I unfortunately can`t download it because my pc f*cked up several times (=crash).

Thats one of the biggest problems I have seen in this game,NO ONE wants to talk to each other.even if they are in squads they act like freelancers with no direction

@Mods: Thanks for changing my name that quick!

By the way:

If you can give me an exact time for the match, I can provide you with the download link. If you can give me a time range, I can give you a list of links. Please give a time zone ;)

Eh... GloryHounds has Voip then? Is there some trickery I missed?

Anyways, I enjoyed the Kubra Dam map, I got a nice perch on a crane above the Iraqi spawn and enjoyed killing off people hiding and being revived by medics. Just before the end I parachuted off and knifed two snipers in the back.

A few people said that was waaay cool. :-)

Indeed it did... and indeed it seemed to be fixed by following TheRealFritz's suggestions on GH web server. I could hear a lot of people yesterday...

I was around when it got to 26 players, but missed the 32 player peak! Eeek... it's getting popular and I'm starting to not recognise everyone's names. :-) It's fun watching new people taking tanks to the rear flag... then coming back about five minutes later... or jumping like mad people when you're shooting them - they die always :-D

Sorry, that got rotated out by now. I think DEDMON has a copy of it, though, you could contact him.

I watched my pitiful attempt on the battlerecorder, and thats one demo im deleting! My alt stats probably hasnt moved an inch.
This mod kinda has my player movement expectations that the vanilla1.2patch promises, i sure hope they dont steal your thunder. Stalk, flank and conceal.
Thanks to Gloryhound btw for activing BR. Right on!
