Whats your Favorite/Least Favorite kind of squad to be in?
I freakin love being in a "Frontline Infantry" Squad! Most action, Most Teamwork, And biggest fun factor for me.
I hate Crewman/pilot squads. Not the players but the whole point of them I know they lift you from point A to point B and Give your team vehicle support, But i have a short attention span and CQC is ever changing, Enemies are ever present, It keeps me focused.

playing pr with a short attention span.....
i love a a combined force infantry squad with a tank/apc or a chopper that stays with the group. if used in close coordination this type of group is loads of fun. theres no better feeling than seeing some enemy armor in the distance and being able to relay it to a chopper/tank via voip and lighting up the enemy armor before they even get a chance to mess with our infantry. its a great feeling.

Infantry Squad. Its hard to have a one type of squad in Pr now with all the armour. Multi purpose is what we do a DVB and it seems to work fine. We also like the Defensive aspect of the game. I would rather defend than attack most days. I prefer to set a defensive position and wait for the impending attack. Medic, rifleman, Grenadier, AT light or heavy, SAW adn an officer for rally points. This is why I play PR the team approach. I have a hard time joining a kit specific squad.

Smeg: Fuzz commands a lot and promotes good teamwork, db flips vehicles, Bosco is an all-round nub, Outlawz is an SP whore, Nickbond is a friggin ninja and Rhino gets kicked for being a n00b.

My most favorite kind of squad is a four man infantry one! Although i really do rather prefer to have two of them, if you get what i mean*! ;)
My least favorite...sniper squad because their is quite simply not enough shooting! I find making carefully aimed shot boring but firing burst after burst exhilarating

Best squad - Armor VoIP, with 2 tanks, AAV and a repair truck. Everyone knows, what they're doing and no unnecessary voice comms.
NEVER HAPPENED - to me at least
Second best -
Recon - usually one-man or two, if I find a familiar soul, spotting for our team and destroying enemy assets. Best one has to be destroying the enemy command post, just as the enemy team is building up defenses 1 Km away
Worst - a no Voip squad, where everyone does it's own thing, SL usually a sniper/spec op, one guy soloing a tank, another one in a helicopter, another one again soloing an APC and attacking enemy tanks with it etc...

I like most squads, not always doing the same thing, sometimes infantry, armour etc... But I love being in a good air squad. They are rare and hard to do, needs good pilots, gunners etc. But when one works it is awesome.
"Today's forecast calls for 30mm HE rain with a slight chance of hellfires"
"oh, they're fire and forget all right...they're fired then they forget where the target is"

Most effective squad I ever been in was a 6 man, 3 tank squad on Zatar Wetlands. Comms were good, gunners were accurate, and the drivers kept the tanks in cover/concealment. I think we lost three the entire game to the A-10, none to anything else and it really helped that we had a couple of engi's following us around fixing us.
Other than that, a humvee (or two DPV/Rover/FAV is better, but rare) based, quick attack infantry squad is my favorite. Officer, medic, 2x rifleman, support gunner, L/H-AT (depending on the map and what we can secure.) Humvee can get around the map quickly to allow flanking in hots spots and then we can bring enough firepower to bear to really ding the enemy. Also if we have to hunker down into a defensive position, we've enough supplies and firepower between the humvee and the infantry to stay a good long time. Good comms is a must to be really effective.

My favorite squad to be in is a well organized Spec Ops squad that uses voice comms only as needed. (No un-necessary chatter, pointless commentary or a SL with diarrea of the mouth.)
However, not a Spec Ops squad in the traditional sense where everyone player in the squad has a spec ops kit. What I mean by spec ops is spec ops in function where the members of the squad utilize whatever kits are needed. They move about the battlefield unnoticed, and firing upon enemy only they cannot escape and evade. The goal being to avoid direct enemy contact and destroy assets and otherwise hinder enemy movement without detection.
That, for me, is requires discipline, skill and is alot of fun.
Of course my least favorite type of squad is one where there is no communication, orgnaization or the squad leader is performing in full gestapo mode. Other than that, I am not a fan of operating armor, but I don't hate it.
For me, as long as a team is orgnaized and is led by a firm and compitent SL I'll have a good time.
