[Help!] Editor Problems

Ok things have gone from bad to worse...

when i 1st installed the editor, i got about 900 red error messages as it loaded up. i THINK this is why i have never been able to make a working map, although mabe this is normal? Thing was, despite these messages the editor did run and i could create maps (that never worked in game - always ctd at "join game") and change objects etc.

Now i get a pop-up error message saying the it "failed to create d3d device" and wont run at all. Anyone have any idea why it is doing this? I think it might of happened after got my new graphics drivers so if i cant find anything on the subject ill roll them back and see what happens.

roll back drivers...

or reinstall the editor..

red error messages are fine and normal

reason your map CTDs is probably improper kit setup in the init.con

and finally...why havent you asked sooner?

Ok thanks man. I didnt ask before because at the time it did all i wanted it to (all i've been doing is making the leaning dirtbike)

havnt been making many maps as i usualy start them then get a spasm of laziness and cant be bothered sorting it out / cant think of or find a realitic location to map

Will reinstalling the editor allow it to run with the new drivers?
