Push mode

Post by Trigz07 »

Is it possible to have a push mode? Where the enemies area is in red and ures is in blue. And you have to push the other team back gaining areas. Doesn't seem like anything but it could turn out good. Idea was from frontlines. And I believe fh2

Sounds cool, i just wonder how would this be done in the game?
Maps wouldn't be so width, so you actually need to push the enemy back, as you cant go around to their back. Or something like this?

They were Swedes; in terms of individual intelligence, integrity and single-mindedness I was to find them among the most impressive soldiers I had ever encountered. In Vares their moment had come."

AASv2 is more or less a push map, and in modern type combat with the weapons it will not work as great like in ww2 like FH, so i say spend more time on whats there now, new stuff later.

Well i don't know if this is possible but i think you could do that with rally points... Imagine that you team's rally points can only be placed X meters away from enemy rally points, you objective will be to push the other team away so that you can destroy their rally point and place your own more to the front as it was before. The location of the rally points would mark each team's color area over the mini map.

Problem with this is that it would have to be a map like street that only has a few ways and that would become nade spam as it is in it. One other problem would be that it would have alot of respawn killing so best option would be so that you could only spawn at main base and the rallies would only be useful to mark your territory and not to spawn.

The only difference about this idea and AAS is that rallies aren't marked on the map as flags are... and if you can hide your rally and defend it you would have that advantage.

Anyway, i think there are already more interesting ideas around the forum and less similar to AAS2...

I suggested the P.O.W's game mod on another topic and i think it would be really nice to have it and not that hard to create. Just waiting for the devs to say something about it...

Probably take away the flags only have 2 of them, 1 for each team. The areas owned are blue and red. The push team is blue and they only own a tiny tiny bit of land. And your supposed to push the other team out of an area and when you do it turns blue. But one problem is how you would do it so it wouldn't be like capturing flags.
