I'm looking for another server to play on, one that's a little easier for mid-range players to do okay on. I constantly get my *** kicked by the veteran players who must spend 4-8 hours a day playing. I can't figure out how in the heck they hit the keys so fast. I frequently come around a corner, see a guy, he not only manages to drop prone, aims and kills me with one shot. All before I can hit the right mouse button to aim and fire. What are these guys on, speed?
It just gets depressing when I can beat singleplayer on veteran, and get maybe 2 kills vs 10-12 deaths online.

I used to get my *** kicked and I still do,but I am much better then when I first stated playing, my kills have gone up and so has my team score. It takes time, practice and learning from the better players.Hang in there you will get better.billclo wrote:I'm looking for another server to play on, one that's a little easier for mid-range players to do okay on. Well it takes alot of practice to be in the top of the game. I would recommend that you try to join with us veteran players and follow us around using teamwork and you will learn very quickly how to survive and how to PWN everyone else.

Fixing the ability to go prone??? I will always go prone in a firefight accuracy is better and you make for a smaller target.beta wrote:Hopefully this will be fixed soon, I've tried this IRL before (with airsoft mind you :winkand it sure doesn't work, you end up with bruised elbows, a dented mag, and a BB in the head ....
If your talking about dolphin diving?? then that will be fixxed with next ea patch.

I'm beginning to think it's because I'm an old fart (40). I get between 5-10 hours a week practice; have been playing FPS for a LONG time.DEDMON5811 wrote:Well it takes alot of practice to be in the top of the game. I do fine in the tactics dept, I think, it's just the reflexes slowing down a bit vs enemies that still have the edge in the twitch dept.

Of course not! The way I judge if a FPS is worthy of playing is if it has the ability to go proneFixing the ability to go prone???
I was thinking more of a delay in the action of going prone (like my favourite FPS-ish game, OFP) or if this is not possible reduced accurracy for a certain amount of time after (1.5 seconds?) just to simulate the fact that it really is quite hard to hit the dirt hard (I feel sorry for my avatar having to dive into that concrete, it must really hurt) and get accurate shots off immeadiately afterwards.
